Who we are
Dubai Clear is a 100% subsidiary of Dubai Clear and Central Depository LLC which in turn is owned by Dubai Financial Market (PJSC). Dubai Clear is licensed and regulated by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) under Board Resolution No. (22/(R.M) of 2016 Regarding the Regulation of the Central Clearing Company and Dubai Clear commenced operations after receiving regulatory approval from the Securities and Commodities Authority on 22 March 2020.What we do
Dubai Clear undertakes all clearing, settlement and risk management functions for DFM. Dubai Clear becomes the central counterparty for all trades executed on the DFM trading platform, whereby it acts as a Seller to all Buyers and Buyer to all Sellers for settlement of trades.
Dubai Clear provides settlement assurance for all trades executed on DFM to mitigate counterparty risk. Dubai Clear has a robust risk management framework supported with clearing technology provided by Nasdaq.
Effective 23 June 2021, Dubai Clear was admitted as a Primary Member of the Global Association of Central Counterparties (CCP12).
